Frequently Asked Questions
What is Cue?
Cue is an AI-powered meeting note taker that helps you stay fully engaged in conversations without the burden of capturing notes manually. You can record and summarize your meetings, lectures, brainstorms, doctor's appointments, and more.
Is my data secure and private?
Your recordings and notes are stored locally on your device and never shared with third parties. Cue never shares or sells your recordings—giving you full control over what to export, share, or delete.
How accurate are the transcriptions?
Cue uses leading-edge speech recognition and natural language processing to transcribe conversations with high precision—even with multiple speakers or technical jargon.
Which languages does Cue support?
Please check out our supported languages in the Introduction under Multilingual Support.
How long can I record conversations?
Cue can record conversations for up to 3 hours. Longer meetings will work, but you may face issues when transcribing them so it is not advised. We recommend separating longer sessions into multiple recordings for better quality output.
Can I edit the AI-generated summaries?
Yes, you can use Ask Cue - our AI-powered assistant that helps you edit notes. Simply tap the "Ask Cue" button and you can add or remove details, add action items, change wording... and watch the magic happen as your note summaries update to meet your needs.
Can I use Cue offline?
Cue works offline, but you will need to be connected to the internet to generate your summary note and to Ask Cue questions.
How do I share my notes with others?
You can use the share option within Cue; either copy and paste your transcript and summaries or share them via a public link with friends or colleagues.
Does Cue work with video calls?
You can simply start Cue and set your phone next to your laptop or desktop. Cue will automatically detect your audio and start transcribing.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time by going to your Apple Subscription settings. More information can be found here.
