Language Support

Cue provides comprehensive multilingual support for both recording and note generation, making it perfect for international collaboration, language learning, and diverse communication needs.

Note Language Settings

By default, your note will be in the language it was recorded in. However, you have full control over your note language preferences and can change this at any time in two ways:

1. App Settings - Default for All Notes

You can set the default language for all your notes in the app settings. This becomes your global preference that applies to all new recordings unless overridden on a per-note basis.

To change your default language:

  1. Open Cue and navigate to Settings
  2. Look for the Notes section and the "Default Language" setting
  3. Select your preferred language from the menu
  4. All future notes will use this language by default

2. Note-Specific Settings

You can override the default language for any individual note, giving you flexibility for specific recordings or conversations.

To change a note's language:

  1. Open the specific note you want to modify
  2. Click "Note Language"
  3. Select your preferred language for just that note - you can also easily choose to apply this to all future notes
  4. The summary will be regenerated in your chosen language
